ABOUT YOUR CLASS

Classes at Natural Way Qigong Club are held on behalf of the Tse Qigong Centre which was set up
in 1990 by a Chinese Master from Hong Kong called Michael Tse. Master Michael Tse was a close student of Grand Master Yang Meijun (27th Generation Inheritor of the Dayan Qigong system),
and was given permission to teach her skill outside China. The Tse Qigong Centre is now an
international organization with its headquarters based here in the UK. Classes and seminars with
Tse Qigong Centre representatives and authorized instructors are held throughout the UK, and as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and Norway.

Master Michael Tse with Grand Master Yang Meijun

What will I learn? You will begin with a set of foundation exercises personally developed by
Master Michael Tse to help prepare you for the more complicated free flowing forms of the
Dayan system. These exercises have been created from Master Tse's many years of
experience in Qigong and martial arts.

Balancing Gong.
This set of beginner exercises helps to balance the Qi (energy) in the body. It is also very good for the waist, spine, neck and shoulders, and will help you to relax, breathe, and learn how to move.

Healthy Living Gong Parts 1, 2 and 3.

Part 1 focuses on relaxation. Part 2 will develop balance and co-ordination.
Part 3 is for building strength and power.

Wild Goose Qigong 1st 64.

In contrast to the previous exercise sets which largely consist of static repetitions, the Wild Goose form is a series of interconnected movements that flow seamlessly together. The 1st set of 64 movements will work on your post-natal energy and help to clear up old injuries or illnesses. The form is very graceful and beautiful to watch, with a variety of fluttering, shaking and flicking movements which help to rid the body of toxins.

Meditation.
When we have finished our practice we need to store the fresh Qi we have gathered. The movement part of our practice is Yang so we need the Yin stillness of meditation to balance this.

When studying traditional Chinese skill the importance of lineage and quality of teaching cannot be emphasised enough. Students can be assured that all the skill we teach is authentic, and that it is taught by an officially authorized Tse Qigong Centre Instructor. Classes are suitable for everybody,
no matter what age or level of fitness. You will have the opportunity to develop in a relaxed
and friendly atmosphere, and work entirely at your own pace.

Ever since beginning my studies in 2001, the Tse Qigong Centre has been like a family to which I
feel deeply honoured to belong. I am forever indebted to my teacher, Sifu Kate Britton, and all my Qigong ancestors, for without their commitment and dedication to the skill, I would not be in the
position I am to teach today. In particular I would also like to thank Tai Sigong Master Michael Tse for bringing all of his fascinating skill and knowledge over to the West. I hope that in my own small
way I can help more people to learn this amazing art, and realize for themselves the wonderful
health benefits of Kunlun Dayan Qigong.
